Wireless Charging Stations Come into Use at Capital Airport

To meet passengers’ ever increasing need to charge their electronic devices and further improve the quality of service at Capital Airport, BCIA has recently upgraded the power charging facilities at the domestic departure gates in Terminal 3. The upgraded new-style charging stations are not only equipped with power outlets and USB ports, but also enable passengers to charge their mobile phones through wireless charging shells provided by BCIA for free.

At present BCIA has installed the new-style charging stations near every boarding gate at T3C and T3D. Equipped with 4 power outlets, 8 USB ports, and 6 wireless charging shells, each charging station can charge up to 18 devices at a time. Based on passengers’ feedbacks, in the future BCIA will upgrade the existing charging facilities at T3E, T1 and T2 in phases and further expand the use of wireless charging facilities, steadily enriching power charging resources at Capital Airport and providing more pleasant and convenient travel experience for passengers.
